Organic bug repellants

Pesticide:  Mix 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 1 tsp. baking soda-take 2 teaspoons of this mixture and add to 1 cup water-place in hand-held spray bottle and spray infested plants.

Ants won't cross a line of grount peppermint candy. Spiders don't like the smell of cedar (chips or spray) Nor will they make a web where rubbing alcohol has been sprayed. Slugs won't cross a line of wood ashes from your woodstove.

A Spider Mite mix of 4 cups wheat flour, 1/2 cup buttermilk in 5 gal. of water, heavily sprayed on the plants will suffocate them. Repeat in 5 days 3 times to get eggs and larvae also.
